Frequently asked questions
What are your fees?
We will quickly provide a quote when you fill in our online form, or phone or email us to discuss your family’s needs. We charge an all-inclusive hourly fee for our services. Please contact us to set up a free in-home evaluation.
Bond Senior Home Care is also a registered provider of Veterans Independence Program (VIP) services and can assist eligible individuals.
How is my companion selected?
Once we meet with you, Bond will carefully select a caregiver that has the personality and skills your family needs. We’ll introduce the caregiver companion to you before starting your service. We want you to be comfortable with the person caring for you or your loved one, and if any challenges arise we will continue to work with you until the right person is identified for your needs.
What are Bond’s caregivers’ qualifications?
Bond employs Certified Home Support/Resident Care Attendants (Long Term Care Workers) who are graduates of an extended care program and practicum in nursing homes. Our staff are CPR trained and are qualified to care for a hospital patient, as well as to perform routine housekeeping tasks. Many have completed food safety programmes, and are trained to work with Alzheimer's and Dementia patients. Bond’s team members must be examined by a medical professional, certifying that they are in sound physical and mental health. They are holders of valid driver licenses and have a reliable transportation.
Do Bond’s caregivers speak English?
All of our caregivers are fluent in English, and we also provide companions who speak your loved ones’ native language upon request.
How many hours am I committed to?
Your commitment is your prerogative. We are available to help you for 1 hour or for unlimited 24-hour-a-day care.
Can you provide care in places other than our home?
Yes. Please see ‘Where do we help?’
What happens if my caregiver calls in sick?
